In April 2010 I lost my job, as I was the primary earner this made hard for us to continue making our mortgage payments. My wife and I decided to look for a professional realtor to sell our Duplex, located in a nice area in Hollywood. We interviewed several realtors including Maria Gomez. Maria experience and professionalism gave us confidence and hope and we decided to hired her as our Real estate agent to do a short sale.

Maria did not lose time and very soon she started to do her job, bringing real estate agents with their customers to see our house. She used all the resources her company offers to promote our house and in a matter of weeks, in this slow market, we started receiving offers from prospect buyers.

Maria also adviced us on all the procedures of doing a short sale and contacted our lenders to coordinate the sale. She was always on top of every step to make sure we would not have future problems concerning the sale.

After we got the best offer, Maria negociated with our lenders to make sure they will agree on the price and that this sale price will be enough for the lenders so we could walk-out without owing anybody anything.

Maria also help us to find a rental house in a nice area so we could move with our kids, and start over again.

Thanks to Maria's help we went through this hard moments and we found a new place to live, making easier all the process of doing a short sale and re-location to another place.

As I sit down to write about my experience dealing with Maria Gomez I don't really know where to begin. We've known each other a short time but it seems like we are old friends. It is a bond that began during a real estate transaction but it grew and that's because of the person Maria is.

I believe that the relationship between a realtor and client must be built on trust, commitment and understanding of each persons position and responsibility.

You don't always become friends but there must be a mutual respect. I deeply respect Maria's abilities as a realtor. She works hard and fast. She is always available and eager. She knows all aspects of the business and has a wealth of information about many different areas around Southern California.

But it goes beyond that. Maria also understands what the buyer goes through emotionally, financially and mentally when buying a home. She has suggestions about movers, painters, plumbers, gardeners....you name it. If she doesn't have a suggestion or an answer she tracks it down and always calls you back.

Okay I could go on and on and on but then you wouldn't believe me. So let me just say I'm glad I found Maria, it was by chance and I was lucky

We worked with Maria in the purchase of our home in Fullerton.

We started our search for a home in Hancock Park, but after several months a job change forced us to change our housing search to North Orange County. We thought that Maria would no longer be interested in representing us, since Orange County is so far away from her home office.

When we told Maria that we were going to start looking for a home in North Orange County, she told us that she was still very interested in working with us. She immediately began researching our target area, finding listings and setting appointments for us to see numerous homes. Shortly after we began our housing search in Orange County, Maria found us a beautiful home in Fullerton at an excellent price.

We are currently working with Maria in the purchase of a 7 unit apartment building in Whittier.
